Check out the Myrtle Beach State Park

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the Grand Strand, the Myrtle Beach State Park is an oceanfront reserve of maritime forest.  It was established in 1935 and offers a great getaway for both nature lovers and anyone who wants to enjoy a less crowded beach experience.  You can stroll along the Sculptured Oak Nature Trail or ride your bike throughout the park.  Enjoy one of three playgrounds, or try your hand at pier or surf fishing.  The park offers two educational scavenger hunts that encourage everyone to explore the entire park.  Experience the park as a day trip, or stay overnight in one of the campsites or in one of the six rustic cabins in the park.  The Myrtle Beach State Park is located at 4401 S. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.  Check out the details at visitmyrtlebeachsp.com.
